MASTERPIECE Fine Art Auction held its first auction on July 23, 2003 in Jakarta. Successful in its initial sale in 2003, the company quickly expanded its division to meet recent demand for qualified artwork by running auction types in Masterpiece, Heirloom and of treasures under the MASTERPIECE GROUPS of the company. The Heritage Auction was set up to enrich the sale’s collections with a variety of fine art in addition to paintings, such as sculptures, ceramics, traditional clothing, books and antiques. The Treasure Auction was created to showcase and educate people about fine art fashion. We have offered collections of classic, modern and contemporary works of art from countries in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnamese and Thailand), Asia (India, Japan, Korea, China) and also European artists.

Building on its great reputation in Indonesia, MASTERPIECE GROUP continues to strengthen its growth through the creation of Masterpiece Auction in Singapore. The huge success of the first auction in Singapore in March 2008 propelled MASTERPIECE Singapore to become a renowned auction house in Asia. 5 years later, another auction success was recorded in June 2013 with the initial sale of MASTERPIECE in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, showcasing a greater variety of Asian arts to a wider clientele. On March 26, 2016, Masterpiece Auction House announces its first Asian and Southeast Asian fine art, modern and contemporary auction in bustling Hong Kong. This is a celebration of more than 10 years in art auctions in the Southeast Asian region. This auction includes works from many collection areas, Asia and Southeast Asia.
